There is no place quite like Mount Panorama. A mecca for motor racing fans and drivers alike since opening in 1938. Well before it became a gathering place for motor racing enthusiasts, the Mount was an important part of the local Wiradjuri tribe's culture. The Mount was called ‘Wahluu', which means ‘to watch over' and it was from the vantage points now known as Skyline along with Reid & Sulman Parks that the young Wiradjuri men would watch over their land and the movements of travellers to and from the valley.

At almost 3,000 feet above sea level, Mount Panorama – Wahluu becomes a sea of a different kind of sound in 2017 as it plays host to the Inland Sea of Sound Festival…

Eat + Drink

We’re busy lining up some cracking food & bev options for ya’ll.

Check back soon – we’ll post some salivating menu pics right here so you can drool over your keyboard before tasting the real thing at Inland in November. Suffice to say it’ll be a regional smorgasbord given Bathurst nails top quality produce, craft beers, wines & ciders!

It’s not a festival if there’s no tents!

There's no better camping place on earth (in the Central West at least) than on top of the Mount with 360-deg views across the entire region! Normally, to camp up top, its always the sound of race cars that will rudely awake you in the morning - not so at Inland. Here's your chance to live it up in peace & quiet and pitch your tent (or have it pitched for you) on one of Australia's most loved mountaintops.

We’ve partnered up with festival camping gurus, Mooggee to offer BYO tent or 'don't lift a finger' camping options which you can purchase once tickets go on-sale August 10. From only $25pp - this is one camping trip to bring the whole festival family along for the ride!

+ Is Inland 2017 suitable for my kids to attend?

Based on the information provided at the time of purchase, parents need to decide for themselves whether they feel Inland will be suitable for their kids to attend. We are busy finalising all our on & off stage entertainment, a limited amount of which will be child friendly. We hope to have all entertainment info on the website by the end of August so we would encourage people to hold off purchasing tickets for them & their kids until then. It should be noted that there won't be as much child friendly entertainment as previous Inland festivals - focus this year is more heavily skewed to our 2 stages.

+ Can we BYO food & drinks?

No - apart from some bottled water (in plastic only). Inland 2017 is a fully licensed event site serving up a great range of beers, wines, ciders & softies + we're busily pulling together a "family" of food vendors who do seriously good food - much of which will feature local produce. We want to support local + we want you to experience some great festival food & bev. Stay tuned to our Eats & Drinks section for updates!

+ What concession cards are accepted?

Inland2017 accepts student, senior & pensioner concession cards. If you intend on purchasing a concession ticket, you must be able to present your concession card when entering the festival site. If you cannot, you will be required to pay the difference between the concession ticket and the Adult ticket price
