Robbie is the youngest of five boys and grew up on a winery in country, NSW. Robbie found his passion for music at a young age. He started guitar lessons at 9 years old, and found the confidence to sing whilst at boarding school in Bathurst. He moved to Brisbane on a Rugby League contract, but persisted with music, playing gigs anywhere that gave him the opportunity. Since then, Robbie has gained experience singing at weddings, functions, birthday parties, special events, pubs and clubs. Robbie is a talented singer-songwriter, writing over 30 original songs, whilst also covering many popular songs from different genres.
Robbie also enjoys playing gigs with other local musicians like his brother James and family friend Neil, who all share a love for music and bring great diversity to the music he plays. He is willing to travel for gigs and guarantees a good time, “If you’re not dancing or singing, I’m not doing my job”.
Robbie plays all styles of music, from pub classics, originals, anthems, and chilled Sunday vibes. Over the years, Robbie has learned to play many instruments ranging from Guitar, Piano, Harmonica, Drums and is handy with a loop pedal. Ed Sheeran, INXS, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel Amy Winehouse and James Taylor have all influenced the style of music Robbie plays.
Robbie supported The Beach Boys and Temptations on the Surf and Soul tour which recently came to Australia. Robbie has also been working closely with musician/producer, Dale Allison and song writer, Ben Richards on an acoustic album of original songs which he hopes to release on iTunes and Spotify later this year.
