Ticket Terms and Conditions

Tickets are sold by Ticketek on behalf of Bathurst Regional Council (ABN 42 173 522 302) who is responsible for the event. The following conditions are both of sale, entry and attendance at the event.

  1. ‘You’ and ‘your’ refers to the customers. ‘We’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘Inland Sea of Sound’ and ‘Event organiser’ refers to Bathurst Regional Council and its employees, contractors, volunteers and authorised persons. ‘This agreement’ means these terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our website and booking forms.

TICKETING

  1. NO REFUND OR EXCHANGES ON ANY TICKET will be given except in accordance with the applicable Live Performance Australia code of practice for Event Ticketing www.liveperformanceaustralia.com.au . This is an all weather event. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
  2. We reserve the right to charge a fee for replacement of lost, destroyed or stolen tickets. Please treat your ticket as you would money or other valuables.
  3. A weekend pass is a 2-day-ticket for the use of one person and cannot be shared.
  4. There will be no refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the Event.
  5. Inland Sea of Sound adheres to Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for ticketing and Live events.

ARTIST AND VENUE

  1. We reserve the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.
  2. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Event for any reason. In the event of the cancellation in advance of the Event, we will provide a refund less an amount to cover the cost for ticketing.
  3. We reserve the right at any time, to change the venue of the Event. In the event of a change in venue, we will publish details on the Inland Sea of Sound website.

ENTRY

  1. The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the Event organiser’s terms and conditions.
  2. Wristbands will be issued and attached at the site box office. Please ensure this is your first stop, even when you pre purchased your ticket(s). Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event. Once a wristband is removed, it becomes void. Stretched or damaged wristbands will not be replaced.
  3. If entering the Event as an adult, ID to prove legal age must be shown at the Festival entrance/site box office or on demand.
  4. Any minor under 15 cannot enter the festival except in company of a responsible adult of a minimum age of 25 years.
  5. Bag (& for campers vehicle) checks will apply to everyone entering the festival. NO GLASSWARE, ALCOHOL, WEAPONS, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES or any item the Event organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner may be confiscated. Refusal to consent to a search WILL prevent entry to the Event, without refund.
  6. Entry is at own risk and the right to refuse entry is reserved. The promoter or venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering on the site – to the extent allowed by the law. All bags/containers will be subject to a full search. The festival is licensed – don’t bring alcohol with you – and prohibited items found will be confiscated and not returned.
  7. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased through an authorised point of sale. Do not share your ticket barcode, it may prevent entry.
  8. Audio and visual recordings of the Event are prohibited. Still cameras are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes and not public display. By attending the Event, you consent to being included in any film and/or sound recordings of the Event that may take place and agree for these recordings to be used by the Event organiser for publicity or any other reason.

LIABILITY

  1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of those providing services in connection with the Event or any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this Event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty which cannot be excluded or modified, that connection or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages.
  2. Admission is at the ticket holders own risk. You acknowledge that neither we nor the venue will be responsible for any loss or damage to property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the Event by you or your invitees.
  3. You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the Event by you or your invitees.

CONDUCT

  1. You must ensure that you and your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the Event. We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in an intoxicated, disorderly, offensive, threatening or inappropriate manner.
  2. The Event is open to all ages. Children under the age of 15 years may only enter with a responsible adult of at least 25 years of age. Children who behave in a disorderly, disruptive or inappropriate manner may at the sole discretion of the Event organisers be required to leave.

FOOD, ALCOHOL, SMOKING, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES

  1. You may bring small amounts of food into the festival, but please do not take any large picnics. No eskis are allowed except for campers and they need to stay in the camping area.

We will have a range of food vendors supplying high quality local food to our patrons.

  1. Any surrounding areas to the festival site are ALCOHOL FREE ZONES under the terms of the festival organisers liquor licence. Any alcohol consumed in these areas will cause immediate eviction and cancellation of your ticket an/or wristband.
  2. THE FESTIVAL EVENT AREA IS LICENCED. Any patron wishing to consume alcohol must have photographic ID. We reserve the right to evict patrons who disobey or break Responsible Service of Alcohol Legislation and the law.
  3. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Event and will face criminal charges.
  4. Anyone found supplying or consuming illicit drugs will be evicted from the premises and face criminal charges.
  5. There will be designated smoking area. Please adhere to these areas when smoking.
  6. Sealed or empty water bottles are permitted (and encouraged) to bring into the event. There are water refill stations on the festival site. You will be required to empty any open bottles containing liquid before entering the festival site.

PRIVACY

  1. In order to purchase your ticket, we may need to collect and keep personal information about you including your name, address, credit card or payment details, telephone number and the names of all ticket allocations. We may also need to disclose your personal information as required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Act.

TRADING

  1. Trading signs or other signs are not permitted without prior consent of Inland Sea of Sound Festival. No ticket holder shall be entitled to do any trading without the written consent of the Event organisers.
  2. Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion whether commercial or non-commercial without prior written consent of the Event organisers.

GENERAL

  1. Footwear must be worn at all times on the site.
  2. Animals are not permitted, except for registered companion dogs.
  3. Fire and Fireworks are not permitted.
  4. This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
  5. Camping tickets require adherence to the camping terms and conditions. All campers must ensure they meet these guidelines. Camping terms and conditions are displayed on the Inland Sea of Sound website.
  6. Any breach of these terms and conditions will entitle the Event organisers to evict the ticket holder from the venue and confiscate any ticket or wristband, without refund.

ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITY

  1. The Inland Sea of Sound Festival is striving to achieve the highest possible level of sustainability. We ask all patrons to assist with this goal by bringing their own reusable bottles and cups and removing all rubbish and placing it into the appropriate bins provided.
  2. Please respect our town and neighbours and do not create excessive noise or litter while travelling to and from the event.

 

Camping Terms & Conditions

  1. Everyone entering the campgrounds needs to have a valid ticket to the Festival for the full duration of the campground booking.
  2. All guests under the age of 18 years are to be accompanied by an adult.
  3. Orderly conduct is expected at all times. Security will be monitoring the area and reserve the right to refuse entry or reject anyone from the campgrounds who is deemed unfit or acting inappropriately.
  4. No motorhomes inside the campground. The maximum size for a camper trailer is 6 metres.
  5. One vehicle parked per site. Additional vehicles may park outside the Festival site.
  6. A maximum of six people are allowed to camp per site.
  7. No BYO alcohol. The festival bars will be open throughout the event and alcohol purchased there can be taken into the camping area.
  8. Vehicles may only be used to enter and exit the campground. Unregistered or un-roadworthy vehicles will not be permitted into the area.
  9. No open fires are permitted in the camping area.
  10. No animals are allowed into the camping area except for registered service dogs on leads.
  11. Prohibited items on the festival site including the campgrounds: Fireworks, explosives, any illegal substances, weapons, power tools, chainsaws, axes or dangerous equipment.
  12. Bag and Vehicle checks will apply.
  13. The Inland Sea of Sound Festival is striving to achieve the highest possible level of sustainability. We ask all patrons to assist with this goal by bringing their own reusable bottles and cups and removing all rubbish and placing it into the appropriate bins provided.
  14. Bathurst Regional Council and its employees are in no way liable for the loss, damage or injury to person or property incurred by the camper and any accompanying persons staying at the Inland Sea of Sound Festival site and campgrounds.
