The entrance to the festival site is via McPhillamy Park. Turn into McPhillamy Park from Skyline drive and then turn right to Reid and Sulman Park.
When Mount Panorama is a race track the cars circumnavigate it in an anticlockwise direction but out of race time it is a normal two way road so you can choose which direction to take to reach the summit.
Bathurst is 200 kilometres or about 3 hours drive from Sydney and about 3 and half hours drive from Canberra. The festival site is about five minutes drives from the centre of Bathurst.
Rex airlines provides flights from Sydney a few times a day. Australia Wide Coaches provide a bus service and there are also a range of train services. There is a morning XPT service from Central, returning in the evening and the Bathurst Bullet which travels from Bathurst to Sydney in the morning, returning in the evening. During the day there are train services from Sydney to Lithgow and a few coach services from Lithgow to Bathurst.
Festival Shuttle Bus
During the festival a free shuttle service will be provided from the front entrance of the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, 105 William Street to the festival site. The shuttle will basically make a loop trip every 30 minutes. More details will be available in the lead up to the festival.
Car parking will be available once you enter the site from McPhillamy Park, prior to the festival pedestrian entrance. It will then be less than a five minute walk to the festival gate. A disabled parking area will be situated adjacent to the entry gate.
